SCOTT ROY Beloved by all those blessed to know him went home to the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2012. He was 38 years old. Born July 30, 1973, in The Dalles, Ore., Scott grew up in The Dalles, Ore., and then attended Linfield College. He graduated with a degree in health and physical education. Scott filled his life with amazing travels and experiences including backpacking in Europe after college. He taught middle school in The Dalles, Ore. Scott married his wife, Tristin Olson-Roy, and moved to Hawaii for 2 1/2 years. He taught middle school in Hawaii and coached triathlon for Team Jet Hawaii. When they returned to the mainland, he worked as a health educator in Spokane and was head coach to Team Blaze Spokane of 200+ members as well as coaching many people around the country. Scott and Tristin started the triathlon club Team Blaze Spokane in 2004 (www.TeamBlazeSpokane.com). Read more

Vorce baby Dusty and Amber Vorce, Lyle, announce the birth of their daughter, Oakley Rose Vorce. The baby girl was born April 7, 2012, at 3:47 a.m. at Providence Hood River Hospital. At birth, she weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Read more
