Labor Day Open House WeekendLocation: Columbia Gorge Wineries in Washington and OregonWinery Open House Hours are 11am – 6pm
More than 30 wineries and tasting rooms will be open Labor Day weekend with open houses featuring special releases, events, live music, artisan treats and other surprises.
Our wineries span the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area through 40 miles of peaceful, open-roads running through double mountain views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams.
Stay the long weekend; one day can be spent in our Washington wineries (spanning from Underwood to Goldendale), next in our Oregon wineries (spanning from Hood River thru The Dalles) and complete the weekend in our Hood River Tasting Rooms. Overview: The Columbia Gorge Wine Growers Association brings several wineries and vineyards across the Gorge area in Columbia together for several events each year. If you are a wine connoisseur, this is a wonderful opportunity to savor some of the best produce.

Details:Â Some of the wine growers associations famous events include the Gorge Wine Week in April, The Winegrowers Celebration for Hospice as well as an Open House for each Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekend. The Wine Growers Association also participates in Hood River's First Fridays, a co-operative effort between downtown merchants and local artists who perform for all. Artists create, display and sell artifacts, while musicians play during the wine celebration.
